Smashers

Smashers

Smashers is a smash burger brand born in Turin with the ambition to sit somewhere between a restaurant and a subculture. We built their website starting from a strong, already defined visual identity - vintage '60s aesthetics with a near-spatial tension - and the challenge of translating it into digital without losing the brand's raw emotional charge. We designed an experience that communicates who they are before what they serve: a site where aesthetics carry the message.

Customer Information

Smashers, a brand under 4foodies S.R.L., runs two locations in Turin and Milan, each focused on handcrafted smash burgers. The brand stands out in Italy's food scene for a well-defined cultural identity: artisan buns, carefully developed recipes, and a philosophy that frames burgers as a lifestyle - not just a meal.

Technologies Used

We built the site with Next.js and TypeScript, leveraging a modern app architecture for performance and flexibility. The UI was prototyped in Figma and developed with Tailwind CSS, ensuring visual consistency across devices. Node.js and Git round out a reliable stack built for longevity.

The Brand Before the Burger

Smashers never wanted to be just a place to eat well - and the site had to make that clear from the first frame. We worked on aesthetics as substance: every scroll delivers a precise energy, built from visual tension, saturated palettes, and a direct tone of voice. The result is a digital platform that doesn't persuade - it hooks. Because Smashers works when it hits you before you've even read the menu.
