The management software with AI inside
Families come first. Refuneral handles the rest.
We built Refuneral for funeral homes: it answers when nobody can, reads the families’ documents and shows what every case really earns. Less paperwork, more time for families. It is built for Italy today and can be adapted to other countries.

01 · In short
In a funeral home the same details get written down again and again, the phone rings at any hour and nobody quite knows what a case earned. We built Refuneral to take that double work away: AI suggests, people decide.
02 · The problem
Today the work gets done twice. With Refuneral, once.
ID card, case file, municipal forms, contract: the same details change hands four times. At night and at weekends the phone rings even when nobody is there. WhatsApp, email, spreadsheets and a paper diary are never all in front of the same person.

The family photographs the documents, AI fills in the case
No answer on the phone at night or at weekends
The assistant answers, takes the details and alerts whoever is on call
WhatsApp, email, spreadsheets and a paper diary: nobody sees it all
One inbox, tied to the case, visible from every branch

03 · How it works
An ordinary night, from 02:14 to 10:00.
02:14
A family calls. The assistant answers.
It says it is automated from the very first sentence, takes the caller’s name, where the person is and a callback number. It quotes no prices and makes no promises.
Good evening, this is the funeral home’s automated assistant. May I have your name and a number to call you back?
This is Laura Bianchi, my number is…

The request is already on the board, with a transcript and a summary. Whoever is on call phones back knowing everything.

04 · Principles
AI suggests, you decide.
It says it is automated
From the first sentence. It answers only when nobody else does and switches off in a second, branch by branch.
No prices, no promises
It takes the details and hands the request to a person. It does not replace the on-call staff.
Nothing goes out on its own
Obituaries, messages and replies to reviews stay drafts until you have checked them.
The data belongs to the business
AI features are switched on module by module, in line with the AI Act and GDPR.

08 · How we built it
RedergoOne more colleague. One who never sleeps.
We built Refuneral around the two moments that cost the most time today: the call that comes in at night and the family’s documents. Everything else, 31 modules in 7 areas, is switched on when needed. It runs in the browser on computers, tablets and phones, and installs as an app without going through the stores. We also built the website: static, with a golden thread in WebGL written from scratch.
